The Best Technology Magazine category is new to the ITJournalism Awards. This category is now only open to magazines that write predominantly about technology or the technology industry and does not differentiate between business and consumer magazines. This change was made to ensure that the awards stay focused on technology media.


How to Enter

1. Two hard-copies of three different issues.
2. Four articles. Total word count should not exceed 6000 words.

Criteria

Editorial
Judges will score the editorial quality out of 20, based on the subject matter, the level of insight and expertise demonstrated in the writing, the overall writing quality


Production
Judges will score the production quality out of 20, based on the appeal of the cover, the effective use of images and graphics, the readability of pages and the effectiveness of the magazine navigation


Commercial Success
Judges will score the commercial success of the title out of ten, based on the overall position of the title in the market based on ads or paid circulation, increases in readership, increases in paid circulation
