The Best Industry Title award will recognise the title that has best covered IT and/or telecommunications industry news and issues, effectively investigating and covering IT companies and the issues that relate to those companies and their investors.

Quality of content
Stories and articles should be well-written and well researched showing a high degree of writing skill and flair.
Value to reader
A Title should have a well-developed understanding of its readership and the information needs of its readership.
Production Quality
A Title should be visually appealing or at least appropriate for its readership, with graphics that enhance the text, a logical layout and structure and headlines and captions that draw in the reader.
Creativity
A Title should be innovative, a thought-leader and utilise advanced publishing techniques. It should seek to engage the reader beyond a superficial level and where appropriate develop a sense of community, through its editorial, web site and other activities.
Commercial success
Commercial success, in terms of increases in circulation or readership, is generally a good indication of the effectiveness of a publication. Commercial success may involve gains in circulation or readership, measured by independent sources, or a leading or improving position in regard to advertising share.

Each of the criteria should be given a mark out of 10.
