The Best Website award will recognise the publication that makes best use of the website format to deliver information related to technology. This includes but is not limited to business and consumer websites.



PLEASE NOTE: Commercial Success is a key element of this category. Please include any data or argument to support reasons that you should receive points for this criteria. (No more than 300 words)


How to Enter

1. Your Website URL
2. Three soft copy articles submitted via the Lizzies website which are written by local staff or contributors. Total combined word count should not exceed 6000 words.
3. Supporting argument for commercial success. (No more than 300 words)



Commendations

In addition to our regular Highly Commended awards, additional commendations can be awarded in this category where appropriate.


SMALL PUBLISHER COMMENDATION
A Commended award may be given in this category for the highest scoring publication from a Small Publisher. A Small Publisher is defined as a company with less than ten employees. Two out of three judges must agree that a commendation is deserved. Please indicate in your submission if you qualify for this commendation.



NEW TITLE COMMENDATION
A Commended award will be given in this category for the highest scoring publication from a New Title. A New Title is defined as a publication launched after July 1, 2010. Two out of three judges must agree that a commendation is deserved. Please indicate in your submission if you qualify for this commendation.



Criteria

Editorial
Judges will score the editorial quality out of 15, based on the subject matter, the level of insight and expertise demonstrated in the writing, and the overall writing quality.


Production
Judges will score the production quality out of 10, based on the aesthetic appeal of the website, the use of multimedia, the effectiveness of navigation and general usability, the successful incorporate of interaction and community development.


Commercial Success
Judges will score the commercial success of the title out of 5, based on the overall position of the title in the market based on advertising or traffic, increases in traffic or advertising market share.
