MediaConnect is excited to announce that Sun Microsystems will once again be sponsoring the IT Journalism Awards and we're keen to start inviting entries before the end of the year.

The 6th annual Sun Microsystems IT Journalism Awards will, as always, recognise excellence in IT media and journalism in Australia and New Zealand and we will accept nominations published between January and December 2007. For full submission guidelines please click here.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday 31 January.

There are 22 categories for the 6th annual awards, to be held in the glamorous Star City Casino Ballroom on Friday 11 April.

The criteria for entries can be found here, but we'd like to take this opportunity before the end of the year to invite any suggestions you may have for revising any of the categories or criteria. Please email your suggestions to Kirstin Stevens by 22 December 2007.
